Our Campus Recruitment team is active year-round, connecting with students and planning recruitment events to promote our many opportunities. The team is most active in the Fall, when we recruit our largest numbers of students. Please visit your University Career centre to see when we’ll next be on your campus or when we will be hosting a virtual informational session.

 

CPP Investments’ Campus Recruitment team actively supports student-run clubs and conferences and often presents during these events through keynotes, workshops and networking sessions. We hope to see you on campus and share why CPP Investments is a great place to invest in your future career.

Application Process

 

Please visit our opportunities portal to view available positions and apply to as many positions as you find interesting. Each of our teams conducts its review and interview processes differently, so you may hear back about different roles at different times.

 

Complete the application process for each job, being sure to provide:

  • contact details;
  • how you heard about the opportunity;
  • education information;
  • resume and cover letter; and
  • most recent university transcripts (unofficial transcripts are accepted).

Interview process for various role will differ, but below is an example of one –

If you are selected for an interview, our recruitment team will contact you directly. This will include clear instructions regarding what is expected and how many interview rounds will be required.

Our recruitment process may include, but is not limited to, behavioural interviews, case studies, group discussions and skill testing.

Normally, there are two interview rounds. The first is one-to-two hours in length, during which you will meet with members of the hiring department. The second round will be longer, consisting of four interviews during which you will meet with a variety of department representatives and HR professionals.

Case-based questions or technical questions will be part of this process to help us better determine your thought process and how you generate answers. In some situations, you may receive a case in advance and be asked to come prepared to speak about how to build a financial model and evaluate a company.
