Public Meetings

The meetings provide Canadians with an opportunity to engage and ask questions of our senior leaders about how the Fund is working for you. In 2024, CPP Investments held in-person meetings across the country and a virtual meeting as part of our commitment to engage directly with the more than 22 million contributors and beneficiaries of the Canada Pension Plan (CPP). The next set of meetings is set to take place in 2026.

The meetings include an update on the Fund’s performance, governance, and an overview of our approach to investing. Other topics include:

  • How we are working to help ensure the retirement security of more than 22 million contributors and beneficiaries over the long term; and,
  • The types of investments in the Fund and why we invest in Canada and the broader global market.

All Canadians are welcome to attend and share their thoughts on topics ranging from how and where we invest, to our risk management approach, and the sustainability of the CPP.

National Virtual Public Meeting

In November 2024, CPP Investments held a national virtual public meeting to connect with more of CPP’s contributors and beneficiaries and answer their questions. You can view the meeting here:
