Feeling supported matters as you start your career. Support from colleagues, paired with great interactions with senior leadership, can make all the difference; and to help, we assign you mentors and peer partners. They will provide feedback, advice, insights and observations through regular check-ins.

Our training programs are designed to help you learn about CPP Investments, and the different investment strategies, technical requirements and thought processes that contribute to career success.
LAUNCH is our new graduate program designed to support your career from Day One. This highly interactive program focuses on core skills using a case-based approach and real-life examples, making you part of a firm-wide peer community, while learning from experienced colleagues and senior leaders.
Training the Street is an intensive three-week training program covering broad-based financial fundamentals, including accounting, Excel skills and basic three-statement modeling. The program then gets into the specific corporate valuation and financial modeling needed for private and public investment tracks.
Hands-on work assignments give you a broad perspective and understanding of the work we do at CPP Investments. Interns and recent graduates make meaningful impacts, while developing technical and analytical skills. You will contribute to our important mandate and make a difference in society that ensures you feel good about the work you do.

- The Women’s Initiative – which aims to ensure CPP Investments actively hires, develops and retains women and functions as a true meritocracy.
- Out – which encourages recruitment, development and retention of talented LGBT+ professionals and fosters a workplace in which everyone is truly comfortable.
- The Diversity Design Team – comprised of global CPP Investments HR professionals, this team plays a key support role to our Diversity Council.
CPP Investments Women’s Leadership Conference
Established in 2014 to educate young women about career opportunities in investment and finance, the CPP Investments Women’s Leadership Conference targets female students enrolled in undergraduate programs across all academic backgrounds. As a conference delegate, you will experience a myriad of speakers and workshops to help you grow your personal brand and learn more about this potential career path. The conference is held annually during the summer, delegates are selected through an application process in March.
