Annie Harlow

Managing Director, Head of Strategy and Investment Management, Private Equity

Annie leads the Strategy and Investment Management group that is focused on maximizing returns, driving liquidity across CPP Investments’ PE portfolio, and supporting the broader PE business operations. Prior to joining the PE team, Annie was in the Private Infrastructure Group, working in the London and Toronto offices, and Total Fund Management.

Annie holds a Global Professional Master of Law from the University of Toronto; Bachelor of Math (Honours) from the University of Waterloo, and Bachelor Business Administration (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Sanjay Persaud

Managing Director, Head of Valuations

Sanjay leads the valuations team that oversees valuation practices for all asset classes, geographies, and strategies to provide assurance that valuations serve the various business functions and needs across CPP Investments.

Before joining CPP Investments in 2023, Sanjay was a Vice President at Rogers Communications where he led the controllership function for the company’s business units and investment portfolio. Prior to Rogers, he held progressive roles in the Valuations practice at KPMG in their Toronto and London offices.

Sanjay has a BA and Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo. He holds designations as a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

Tim Downing

Managing Director, Domestic Affairs

Tim leads the Domestic Public Affairs team responsible for managing relationships with Canadian governments, including the federal, provincial, and territorial finance ministers who serve as stewards of the Canada Pension Plan.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Tim was Director of Legislative Affairs with the Canadian Bankers Association and a Parliamentary Assistant in the House of Commons of Canada.

Tim holds a MA in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa and a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences, Political Science and History from the University of Ottawa.

Oana Popovat

Managing Director, Head of Talent Operations

Oana leads the Talent Operations group and has responsibility for the human resources digital employee experience and for all operational aspects within HR, including global payroll, pension and benefits administration, mobility, hybrid flexible work, and the optimization of HR data, processes and systems. Within CPP Investments, she previously held various roles within the Technology & Data and Investments Operations teams.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2005, Oana worked at Deloitte in the Enterprise Risk Consulting practice and held various operations positions at Canada Life and Mackenzie Financial.

Oana holds an MBA from York University and a MA in Civil Engineering from the Civil Engineering University in Bucharest.

Freda Colbourne

Managing Director, Head of Corporate Affairs

Freda leads the Corporate Affairs group overseeing activities to build CPP Investments’ global brand internally and externally, including thought leadership, CPP Investments Insights Institute, and employee engagement.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Freda led her own communications consultancy for more than a decade and previously ran the Canadian operations of a large international communications firm.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and completed the corporate director program at University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Freda serves on several charitable boards, including the MLSE Foundation and is Chair of the MLSE Launchpad.

Danica Oldford

Managing Director, Head of Corporate Services

Danica leads our global Corporate Services team and has responsibility for our expense operations, procurement, global real estate assets, workplace experience and is our primary relationship management for property management. Danica also leads strategic corporate sustainability and workplace initiatives, as well as our global travel program.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2022, Danica spent 20 years in corporate administration, global facilities and operations management and shared services with SAP, McCain Foods Limited and Walmart Canada and ONEX Corporation.

Danica holds a BA from Memorial University (Newfoundland), is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at IVEY business school and has a certificate in conflict and dispute resolution from the University of Toronto.

Eric Benner

Managing Director, Head of Investment Research, Active Equities

Eric leads the Investment Research team in Active Equities, which supports the department in investment decision-making, capital allocation, and development of our investing edge through data-driven research, alpha & decision research, thematic research, and platform solutions.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2022, Eric was Vice President & Portfolio Manager at 1832 Asset Management. Previously, he held progressive roles at OMERS Capital Markets, most recently Managing Director & Co-Head of Equities, as well as Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and RBC Capital Markets.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Joint Honours in Economics & Finance) from McGill University and a Master of Financial Economics from the University of Toronto. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Steven James

Managing Director, Strategic Portfolio Design

Steven leads the design of the Reference and Strategic Portfolios for the Base and Additional CPP accounts. Steven previously led the Economic and Financial Forecasts team.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007 Steven held various roles at Canada’s Federal Department of Finance. In that role he led part of the research that made the case for the 1997 CPP reform and creation of CPP Investments, and later led the Finance Canada economic forecasting team.

Steven holds a BA Hons and MA in economics from the University of British Columbia, and an MA in economics from Princeton.

Fabio Rodrigues

Managing Director, Head of Management Analytics

Fabio leads the Management Analytics group, which is responsible for providing financial information and insights on performance, expenses and exposures. The team’s goal is to enable management decision-making at various levels of the organization, and it supports reporting deliverables, self-serve analytics and accompanying processes, such as the business plan and Annual Report.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Fabio was the Director of Portfolio Insights and Credit Risk at Scotiabank, where he led portfolio analysis and executive insights.

Fabio holds an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Toronto.

Logan Willis

Managing Director, Investment Legal

Logan leads CPP Investments’ global team of investment lawyers and oversees the delivery of legal advice on investment and asset management activities globally.

Logan previously served CPP Investments as Chief of Staff to the CEO and provided legal counsel on complex investment and enterprise mandates across asset classes and geographies.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2017, Logan was a Partner at Goodmans LLP, one of Canada’s premier law firms, where he was named in the Best Lawyers in Canada publication as a leading lawyer in the areas of financial restructuring and insolvency.

Logan holds a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Juris Doctor (Hons) from the University of Toronto.

Mike Leader

Managing Director, Head of Investment Operations

Mike leads our Investment Operations team and is responsible for overseeing and managing overall risk as it relates to operations, and to identify sustainable and scalable process-enhancement solutions that support growth of the Fund.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Mike worked for TD Securities in a variety of roles across operations, risk and finance where he most recently led a global team of operations professionals supporting the Fixed Income and Funding businesses. Before that, he worked as a management consultant at Deloitte in the Strategy & Operations practice and in risk management at BMO Financial Group.

Mike holds a BS (Hons) in Statistics from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Daniel Wroblewski

Managing Director, Investment Science

In his role, Daniel leads the work in the Investment Science group in partnership with investment departments across the Fund to find transformational ways of generating alpha (returns above the market benchmark).

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Daniel was Chief Architect and Chief of Staff of EQT, where he led the work on Motherbrain, a data and machine learning platform used to source private markets deals. Earlier he worked as a technical director for a mobile game studio at King, the company behind Candy Crush. Daniel’s deep experience in innovation includes roles as a software engineer and technical lead.

Daniel attended the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, where he studied Engineering Physics.

Pierre Abinakle

Managing Director, Enterprise Legal

Pierre oversees the CPP Investments Enterprise Legal team, including the management of external legal counsel.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2016, Pierre was chief compliance officer and legal counsel of an Abu Dhabi headquartered GE Capital joint venture, serving as director on more than a dozen companies across several jurisdictions. Prior to that, Pierre practiced general corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions for a number of years as a senior associate at Allen & Overy LLP.

Pierre holds a Common Law and a Civil Law degree from the University of Ottawa, and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Duke University. Pierre is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Law Society of England and Wales, and the New York Bar.

Eme Onuoha

Managing Director, Global Public Affairs

Eme oversees CPP Investments’ transnational public affairs strategy and associated government stakeholder relationship management program covering global jurisdictions including the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

Eme’s private and public sector experience spans more than 28 years. Prior to joining CPP Investments, he led Global Government Affairs at PSP Investments. He held senior roles in various divisions at Xerox. Eme has also held executive and advisory positions within several Government of Canada organizations including: the Privy Council Office; the Canadian Commercial Corporation; the Office of the Minister of National Defence; and the Office of the Minister of International Trade.

Eme earned an Honors BA in International Relations from McMaster University, an MBA from Queen’s University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford. He is an Honorary Governor at McMaster University. He currently serves on the Smith School of Business Advisory Board at Queen’s University and the Canadian Climate Institute’s Board of Directors. Eme was also selected as a member of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference under the Right Honourable David Johnston.

Andrea Jeffery

Managing Director, Head of Board Secretariat and Associate Corporate Secretary

Andrea leads our Board Secretariat team, supporting the Chairperson of the Board of Directors as well as the Board, Board Committee Chairs and Board Committees in relation to corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters. Before that, Andrea provided legal and compliance advice on a wide range of internal matters.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007, Andrea practiced corporate and securities law at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg.

Andrea holds a BSocSc from the University of Ottawa and a JD from the University of Toronto. Andrea is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Andrea currently serves on the board of 407 ETR in Canada.

Tara Perkins

Managing Director, Head of Global Public Affairs

Tara leads the Global Public Affairs team responsible for managing public affairs and stakeholder relations in each of the jurisdictions where CPPIB operates.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, Tara spent more than a decade as a business journalist, most recently at the Globe and Mail.

Tara is on the boards of the Investor Leadership Network and Toronto Finance International.

She holds a BA in Journalism from Ryerson University and a BComm from the University of Guelph.

Samantha Hill

Managing Director, Sustainable Investing

Samantha is a leader in our Sustainable Investing team, overseeing global activities that consider material environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters in investments with public and private companies. Her team works alongside investment colleagues in the integration of ESG and climate change matters across the investment lifecycle.

Prior to joining CPPIB in 2007, Samantha worked in the Commercial Banking division at CIBC in senior debt financing for national accounts and real estate, and with RoyNat Capital Inc.

Samantha holds an MBA from Dalhousie University in Finance and Environmental Management.

Heather Tobin

Managing Director, Investment Portfolio Management

Heather heads the Investment Portfolio Management group, which is responsible for active portfolio design and provides recommendations on Investment Signals. This includes supporting the Chief Investment Officer on strategy alternative recommendations and investment department reviews, as well as providing relative value assessments and attribution.

Prior to her current role, Heather held several positions within the Fund, including Managing Director, Head of Active Investment Management, and Managing Director, Head of Strategy & Operations, Capital Markets & Factor Investing.

Before joining CPP Investments in 2009, she worked as an analyst at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and at Morgan Stanley.

Heather holds a BComm from Dalhousie University and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Bronwyn Ward

Managing Director, Head of Trading

Bronwyn leads the public market trading team within Total Fund Management. The team is currently based out of Toronto and London and is responsible for execution across Equities, Fixed Income and FX.  Before that, she headed an active investment program under the Macro Strategy umbrella within Capital Markets and Factor Investing.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2012, Bronwyn worked for five years in credit research and portfolio management.

Bronwyn holds a BSc in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Ryan Barry

Managing Director, Head of Legal

Ryan is responsible for delivery of legal services globally; including enterprise and investment legal support across the organization through both internal and external counsel.

Before joining CPP Investments, Ryan was general counsel of Turtle Creek Asset Management, a North American equity hedge fund business. He is also a prior managing director and head of multi-manager funds with The Carlyle Group, through its subsidiary Diversified Global Asset Management (DGAM), where he led management of global portfolios of hedge funds, credit funds, other private market funds and co-investments for institutional investors. He also previously acted as DGAM’s general counsel, and began his career practicing corporate law at Torys LLP with emphasis on M&A and corporate finance.

A member of the Law Society of Ontario, Ryan has Master of Finance and Law degrees from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University.

Bill MacKenzie

Managing Director, Head of Active Equities North America

Bill heads the team responsible for delivering alpha through active security selection of public, and soon to be public, equity investments in North America.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2010, Bill was a Director and Analyst in the Equity Research group at TD Securities. Previously, he worked at Ernst and Young in the Assurance Services and Corporate Finance groups.

Bill holds a BA in Economics from McGill University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a CFA Charterholder.

Caitlin Gubbels

Managing Director, Head of Funds

Caitlin Gubbels leads the private equity funds business at CPPIB. She is responsible for overseeing and leading private equity fund investments in North America and Europe, with a focus on buyout and growth equity strategies.

Prior to joining CPPIB in 2010, Caitlin worked at CIBC World Markets in Investment Banking, based in Toronto. During her time at CIBC, Caitlin focused primarily on executing M&A transactions and public market offerings for clients in the Diversified Industries group. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University.

Peter Ballon

Managing Director, Global Head of Real Estate

Peter is responsible for our global real estate portfolio, which is diversified across twenty global markets and currently exceeds C$50 Billion.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007, Peter worked with several leading real estate companies, including Canderel, Brookfield and TrizecHahn.

Peter holds a BComm from McGill University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University; and has been granted the ICD.D designation by the Institute of Corporate Directors.

He is on the board of Brazilian public company Aliansce Sonae, a member of Global Board of Directors of the Urban Land Institute and is a Trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Marco Ding

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Americas ex-United States

Marco is responsible for our real estate investments in Canada and South America and leads the teams based in our Toronto and Sao Paulo offices, respectively. Having joined CPP Investments since the group’s inception in 2005, Marco has been instrumental in the group’s international expansion strategy, including many of the organization’s inaugural real estate investment in markets such as Canada, U.S, Brazil, Australia and China.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Marco spent several years with a major investment bank with a focus in the Canadian real estate sector.

Marco holds a Masters of Laws (GPLLM) from the University of Toronto and a HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Tracy Creelman

Managing Director, Head of Talent Acquisition

Tracy leads the Talent Acquisition team responsible for sourcing top talent for CPP Investments offices globally. Tracy has more than 20 years of talent acquisition experience. Prior to joining CPP Investments, she held various roles within the Human Resources function at KPMG, including leading hiring teams, employee brand, and talent-acquisition operations. Before that, Tracy spent more than a decade at search firms, and started her career in Structured and Trade Finance at CIBC.

Tracy holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, as well as a BA in International Relations from the University of Toronto.

Katie Daniels

Managing Director, Head of Compliance

Katie Daniels is CPP Investments’ Head of Compliance, and leads our global, multi-discipline Compliance group.

Before joining CPP Investments, Katie was a long term member of staff of the Ontario Securities Commission, acting as Deputy Director in both the Corporate Finance and Enforcement branches. In her leadership role, she developed deep expertise in securities law, corporate governance and regulatory issues, along with litigation and risk management.  Before moving to the OSC, Katie practiced commercial litigation. She is a past a member of the Board of Directors of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA), an umbrella organization representing all state and provincial securities regulators in North America, and of the OSC’s Securities Advisory Committee.

Katie graduated from the University of Toronto law school in 1992 and earned her Global Professional Masters of Law (GPLLM) from the University of Toronto law school in 2012.

Andrew Alley

Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure, North America & Australasia

Andrew leads our investment activities in Infrastructure in North America, Asia (ex-India) and Australia and has served in senior roles in Infrastructure in our Hong Kong, Sydney, London and Toronto offices. Infrastructure investments focus on asset-intensive businesses with stable, predictable long-term returns, and typically include essential services as utilities, transport, telecommunications and energy.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007, Andrew worked in the Energy Investment Banking group at RBC Capital Markets in Calgary, Alberta and in the Business Development group at Pengrowth Energy Trust.

Andrew holds a BA, Finance from Michigan State University, and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He is a CFA charterholder.

Andrew is on the boards of 407 ETR in Canada, Transurban Chesapeake in the United States, and the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road in Indonesia.

Sam Blaichman

Managing Director, Head of North America, Direct Private Equity

Sam focuses on making direct, long-term investments in private companies and leads our North American Direct Private Equity business.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007, Sam worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company and in the Corporate Finance and Assurance groups at PwC.

Sam holds a B. Comm. From McGill University and an MBA from Ivey Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Professional Accountant.

He currently serves on the board of Ascot Group, Berlin Packaging and Wilton Re and previously served on the boards of The Gates Corporation and Air Distribution Technologies.

Rocky Ieraci

Managing Director, Head of Investment Risk

Rocky is responsible for leading our Investment Risk Group, with accountabilities for the measurement, analysis and oversight of investment risks across all investment portfolios. He is a member of several senior management committees, including Investment Strategy, Investment Risk, Valuation and Climate Change.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2010, Rocky worked for S&P Risk Solutions where he was VP and Head of Analytical Services for the Americas, assisting financial institutions with the development and implementation of risk assessment frameworks and risk-measurement methodologies. As a risk consultant, he drew on 10 years of credit risk experience at Bank of Montreal, where he held progressively senior roles within investment banking, middle market and retail risk groups.

Rocky has a Specialized BA (Hons) in Economics from York University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Dario Kosarac

Managing Director, Head of HR Advisory & Rewards

Dario leads the Total Rewards team, responsible for the development, governance and administration of compensation, benefits, pension, and mobility programs for CPP Investments’ employees around the world.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2015, Dario was with Sun Life Financial, where he held various roles over six years, including heading total rewards and mobility for Sun Life Asia in Hong Kong, and leading the sales compensation practice in Toronto. He also worked as a compensation consultant with Willis Towers Watson in Philadelphia and Toronto, supporting clients on competitive pay analyses, job leveling, and M&A integration initiatives.

Dario holds a Masters of Human Resource Management from York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Alistair McGiven

Managing Director, Head of Applied Research and Models

Alistair leads a research centre of excellence that delivers focused and impactful research, develops robust and consistent tools and ensures efficient operations. Previously, he was Managing Director and Head of Balancing Portfolio Management; and before that a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Global Tactical Asset Allocation group within Public Market Investments.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2008, Alistair spent 10 years at UBS Global Asset Management in London, where he was a Portfolio Manager responsible for both an absolute return macro fund, and for the asset allocation within traditional, long-only balanced portfolios. Before that, he spent six years as an economist at the Bank of England in the Monetary Analysis and International Divisions.

Alistair holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Leicester and a Master’s degree from the University of Manchester. He is a CFA charterholder.

Chris Pinkney

Managing Director, Head of Public Credit

Chris leads the Public Credit group and previously focused on fixed income programs in both Global Capital Markets and Short Horizon Alpha groups. He was primarily responsible for the vanilla and structured credit portfolios, as well as developing cross-product strategies spanning equity, foreign exchange, interest rates, credit and volatility.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007, Chris spent over 12 years with TD Securities as part of the Credit Products Group, as well as three years with Price Waterhouse in Toronto.

Chris holds a BComm from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont., and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University. He is a CFA charterholder and Chartered Professional Accountant.

Kathy Rohacek

Managing Director, Head of Organizational Development

Kathy leads a team focused on building relevant employee, leadership and organizational  capabilities critical to grow a sustainable global investment organization.

Within CPP Investments, Kathy was previously responsible for leading the Human Resources Business Partner team which supported the Investment Departments (Private Investments, Public Market Investments and Real Estate Investments) as well as Total Portfolio Management. Prior to joining CPP Investments in May 2007, Kathy worked with Xstrata (formerly Falconbridge Limited) in various roles including leading Human Resources in their global nickel business and Organizational Development.

Kathy holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Bruce Hogg

Managing Director, Integrated Strategies Group

Bruce leads the Integrated Strategies Group, which seeks and manages investments that are outside of the steady-state portfolio construction of our Investment Departments. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, the team helps the Fund identify areas to leverage flexibility, scale and the ability to invest as One Fund.

Since joining CPP Investments in 2007, Bruce has held various Managing Director positions, including for Total Fund Management. He was also Head of Power & Renewables and Head of Americas for Infrastructure.

Previously, Bruce led the private markets infrastructure team at OPTrust. Before that, he spent several years with Macquarie Bank in London and Toronto in corporate finance. He has also worked in investment banking at RBC Dominion Securities.

Bruce holds a BCom from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Toronto.

Steven Richards

Managing Director, Head of Risk & Business Intelligence

Steven leads CPP Investments’ Risk & Business Intelligence group which includes all risk functions, performance, reporting and analytics. Previously, Steven led the Enterprise Risk team within the Finance, Analytics and Risk department. He joined CPP Investments in 2013 in the Strategy, Planning and Enterprise Risk group.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Steven worked in the Global Risk Management function at Manulife Financial, where he led many risk and compliance initiatives. He started his career as an engineer working in infrastructure and telecommunications, primarily in Asia and Europe.

Steven holds a BSc in Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Geoffrey Souter

Managing Director, Head of Real Assets Credit

Geoffrey currently leads the Real Assets Credit group responsible for credit investments in real estate, infrastructure and sustainable energies. In addition to helping develop and implement our global private real estate debt platform, he has helped lead the expansion of our investments in a broad range of senior and subordinated debt products secured by high-quality real assets in markets across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2010, he spent four years at RBS Greenwich Capital and was a board member of RBS’s Global Real Estate Finance Group, responsible for its U.S. debt portfolio. Previously, Geoffrey worked at JPMorgan in real estate finance-related roles in New York and London, departing as head of real estate capital markets.

Geoffrey holds a BA (Hons) in Urban Development from Western University and an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Umang Patel

Managing Director, Real Assets Credit

Umang focuses on public and private market credit investments in real estate, energy and resources, infrastructure and renewables.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2006, he worked in real estate corporate finance and real estate audit.

Umang holds a BMath in Mathematics/Chartered Professional Accountancy and an MAcc from the University of Waterloo. He is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Derek Walker

Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Design & Construction

Derek leads the Portfolio Design & Construction (PD&C) group. PD&C is responsible for recommending the Fund’s risk appetite, and for strategic and tactical allocations Prior to his current role, he held the roles of Managing Director, Head of Active Investment Management and Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Engineering – both within Total Fund Management (TFM). Prior to joining TFM, Derek was a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Global Tactical Asset Allocation group within Public Market Investments.

Before joining CPP Investments, Derek held a variety of positions related to quantitative investing and indexing at Barclays Global Investors and Morgan Stanley Capital International SA.

Ciana Becker

Managing Director, Head of Strategy, Risk & Operations

Ciana leads Strategy, Risk & Operations for the Capital Markets and Factor Investing department. Ciana’s team manages CMF’s investment strategy and operational execution for the department under three broad functional areas: portfolio construction & strategy, risk management, and business management & operations.  Prior to her current role she was a Managing Director in the External Portfolio Management group.

Before joining CPP Investments in 2012, Ciana was Senior Vice President, Trading Sector Head at Robeco-Sage Investment Management (Rabobank) in New York, NY.  Prior to this, she was an Investment Analyst at Silver Creek Capital Management in Seattle, WA. Ciana served as an executive committee member of the Northwest Hedge Fund Society, a board member to the Toronto chapter of 100 Women in Finance, and on the MFA Investor Advisory Council.

She has a BS in Economics from the University of Washington with certificates in International Economics and Economic Theory & Quantitative Methods.

Michael Douglas

Managing Director, Direct Private Equity

Michael is responsible for sourcing, executing and overseeing private equity investments in North America.

He joined CPP Investments in 2007 and previously worked at Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance.

Michael holds a BComm from Queen’s University and is a CFA Charterholder.

He currently serves on the boards of Ascend Learning, Waystar and Wilton Re; and was previously a director at Acelity, and LHP Hospital Group, and a board observer at Antares.

Paul McCracken

Managing Director, Growth Equity

Paul leads investments in growth stage private companies in healthcare. Prior to that, he was responsible for building the health care team and leading the launch and scale-up of multiple health care strategies for CPPIB Active Equities.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2009, Paul was a Senior Vice President at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers in New York, leading the Health Care Desk-Based Analytics team for trading in public equities and equity derivatives. Previously, Paul held a series of positions in financial services, private start-up ventures, and strategy consulting.

Paul holds a BA (Hons) in Chemistry and English, a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Queen’s University.

David Colla

Managing Director, Head of Capital Solutions

David leads the Capital Solutions group.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2010, he was a Senior Vice President at Oaktree Capital Management in its Mezzanine Finance Group in New York. Before that, David was a Vice President at JPMorgan in its Principal Investments and Leveraged Finance groups in New York.

David holds a BAH in Economics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont., and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

He is on the board of Antares Capital.

Cesare Ruggiero

Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Value Creation

Cesare leads the global Portfolio Value Creation team. He works with portfolio companies to achieve full value potential across private equity, infrastructure and sustainable energies investments.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, Cesare was a Principal with Boston Consulting Group in Toronto, where he advised clients in consumer, technology, life sciences and industrial goods sectors. Before that, he was with Capgemini Consulting in the Los Angeles and Shanghai offices, and was co-chair of the global M&A practice. Cesare has also held roles with Motorola, an investment advisory firm in China, and the Canadian Embassy in Beijing.

He holds a Hons. BA (High Distinction) in International Relations from the University of Toronto.

He currently serves on the boards of Informatica, Ports America Inc, and Mytheresa. He previously served on the board of Neiman Marcus Group.

Sherif Khalifa

Managing Director, Head of Information Security & Risk Management

Sherif leads a team responsible for developing and implementing a strategic and comprehensive information-security program and bringing a security-first mindset into our business processes, and technology and data ecosystems.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Sherif was Managing Director, Global Head of In-Business Control at S&P Global where he built a high-performing team responsible for risk mitigation and control effectiveness across all lines of business, including technology, data, operations and credit-rating analysis. He has also held senior technology leadership roles with GE Capital and Pfizer.

Sherif holds a BS-Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Prasanna Ramaswamy

Managing Director, Head of Technology & Data

Prasanna leads our digital transformation efforts to advance data and technology capabilities to enable business growth, operational excellence and innovation. He is responsible for architecture, application engineering, infrastructure and cloud enablement, data integration, workplace technologies and IT operations.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2019, Prasanna was Managing Director, Global Head of Application Development and Architecture at S&P Global Ratings. Before that, he held technology leadership roles with GE Capital and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

He holds a BE in Engineering from Barkatullah University in Bhopal, India.

Pamela Thomas

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate, New York

Pamela leads the US Real Estate investment team.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2017, she was Executive Director with JP Morgan Asset Management, responsible for the firm’s New York multifamily portfolio. Prior to that, Pamela was with RREEF/Deutsche Bank for 20 years, primarily focused on East Coast multifamily investment.

Pamela holds a BA in International Studies from New York University.

Kristopher Weiner

Managing Director, Head of Global Tactical Opportunities

Kris is responsible for EPM’s global public market co-investments.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Kris was a Managing Director in Blackstone’s special situations investing group looking at a wide range of equity, credit and other investments. Previously, he was a portfolio manager and sector head at Waterfront Capital running a diversified consumer portfolio. Before that, Kris was part of the founding team and director of research at Avesta Capital which he started with colleagues from Moore Capital. He began his career at Putnam Investments, working on the Large Cap Growth investment team.

Kris holds a BA in History (cum laude) from Yale University.

Paras Vira

Managing Director, Capital Solutions

Paras is responsible for the Capital Solutions Group’s non-investment grade corporate credit business in North America.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, he was a Senior Vice President in the Mezzanine Finance group at Oaktree Capital Management in New York. Previously, he worked at UBS Investment Bank in the Leveraged Finance group in New York.

Paras holds a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MS in Operations Research from Columbia University.

Hussain Abbas

Managing Director, Capital Solutions

Hussain leads our North American Strategic Credit business, including the origination and execution of transactions, and portfolio management. Strategic Credit includes all of our activities across corporate special situations credit, structured finance (asset backed & CLOs) and life sciences lending.

Hussain has been with CPP Investments for over 12 years, joining us from Barclays Capital in the Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure group in London where he focused on M&A, Leverage Finance and capital-raising activities. Previously, he worked at an energy investing joint venture between First Reserve and Petrofac Resources.

Hussain holds an MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA (High Hons) from the University of Chicago.

Leigh Partridge

Managing Director, Legal, Europe

Leigh leads our legal team in London and is responsible for the delivery of enterprise and investment legal advice and support across the European region.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2017, Leigh was a senior corporate lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP specializing in complex, cross-border M&A and PE investments and asset management. She has worked in London and Dubai.

Leigh holds a Bachelor of Law, University of Leeds and is a graduate of Nottingham Law School. She is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.

Kiran Swinglehurst

Managing Director, Liquidity Risk

Kiran is responsible for leading our Liquidity Risk Group, with accountabilities for the measurement, analysis and oversight of liquidity risks across the Fund.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Kiran held various roles within Treasury, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, across Corporate and Banking industries. Most recently working at BHP she was responsible for sourcing and managing the debt and equity funding as well as the company’s liquidity.

Kiran holds a BCom from the University of Birmingham and is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and The Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT).

Richard Manley

Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), Managing Director, and Head of Sustainable Investing

As CSO, Richard is responsible for CPP Investments’ approach to sustainability-related matters at the enterprise level, and the development of its sustainability roadmap. He works closely with our CEO and CIO to ensure the Fund maintains a global, cross-enterprise approach to sustainability and deliver on its commitment to reach net zero across the Fund and its operations by 2050.

As Head of Sustainable Investing, Richard leads the team responsible for integrating consideration of sustainability-related risks and opportunities across our investment programs. Richard is also chair of the International Sustainability Standards Board’s (ISSB) Investor Advisory Group, a member of the TCFD and the UK’s Transition Plan Taskforce.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2019, Richard spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently Global Head of Thematic Equity and ESG Research, and Co-Head of EMEA Equity Research. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch, Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, and Paribas Capital Markets as an Integrated Oil & Gas equity analyst.

Richard holds a Graduado Superior/BA (Hons) in European Business Administration from ICADE in Madrid.

Vasant Naik

Managing Director, Head of Systematic Strategies Group

Vasant is the Head of the Systematic Strategies Group (SSG) within Capital Markets and Factor Investing (CMF) Department. Vasant’s team develops and manages systematic investment strategies across global markets, spanning equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities, and volatility. The team invests in absolute return strategies as well as long-only strategies, designed to provide a diversifying return stream to the total fund.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2019, Vasant was global head of asset allocation and empirical research in the Analytics and Quantitative Research Group at PIMCO, where he led a team responsible for quantitative research to provide asset allocation and portfolio construction advice to investment managers. This included developing systematic investment strategies for various risk factors and asset classes. Before that, Vasant was a managing director at Nomura International and Lehman Brothers, where he led a team of quantitative strategists advising clients on systematic investing in fixed-income markets.

Prior to joining the financial industry, Vasant taught finance at the University of British Columbia, with work published in the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.

Vasant holds a postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a PhD in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley.

Pat Naccarato

Managing Director, Head of Active Equities Europe

Pat heads the team responsible for delivering alpha through active security selection of public, and soon to be public, equity investments in Europe.

Pat has managed public equity portfolios across a variety of regions across the world for pension funds, mutual funds and private client assets. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2009, he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Phillips Hager and North Investment Management (now RBC) and TAL Investment Management (now CIBC).

Pat holds an Honors Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Pat currently serves on the board of Viking Cruise Holdings Ltd.

Dushy Sivanithy

Managing Director, Head of Secondaries

Dushy leads our private equity secondaries team, based in London and Toronto, which undertakes a wide range of secondary transactions and liquidity solutions for both GPs and LPs.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Dushy was Head of Origination for Rede Partners. Prior to that he was an LP for 15 years, primarily with Pantheon, where he sat on the investment committees for Europe and Emerging Markets. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in Investment Banking.

Dushy holds a BSc in Biochemistry from King’s College London.

James Bryce

Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure

James leads the global Infrastructure team. Previously, he was head of the Portfolio Value Creation group, supporting management teams of individual investments to achieve full value potential.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2012, James was a Managing Director at Royal Bank Equity Finance (the private equity arm of RBS), where he spent 10 years focused on infrastructure and private equity transactions. Before that, he was a member of the private equity team at JP Morgan Capital and started his career as a pension fund manager at Hambros Bank.

James holds an MA in Theology from Keble College, Oxford.

He currently serves on the boards of Anglian Water, Associated British Ports and Viterra Agriculture.

Bill Rogers

Managing Director, Global Head of Sustainable Energies

Bill leads our global Sustainable Energies activities.

Bill has over 20 years of private equity investment experience, with the majority focused across the energy transition from technology through to infrastructure. Prior to joining CPP Investments, he was part of the Leadership Team that built the Green Investment Group, Macquarie’s global renewables principal investment business. Bill began his career at Shell and McKinsey.

Bill holds a BA and an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University.

He is on the board of Maple Power, Reventus Power and Renewable Power Capital.

Martin Healey

Managing Director, Real Assets

Martin delivers insights and actionable advice to Real Assets’ investment committees and transaction teams on issues impacting long-term investment performance. He also serves on our global investment committees for real estate, infrastructure and energy. Martin joined the Real Estate investing team in 2005, founded the Private Real Estate Debt group in early 2010 and established the Listed Real Estate program. He founded the Real Assets Strategy Group in 2016.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Martin held transactional roles in the real estate investing, commercial lending and investment banking industries in the U.K., Canada and U.S.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA, with an emphasis in Real Estate, from the University of California at Berkeley.

Christina Fernandez

Managing Director, Head of Tax and Structure Management

Christina leads our Tax and Investment Structure Management teams, which support the organization on tax matters as well as managing our investment structures. From 2014 to 2017, she was a Tax Director working with our investment departments investing into Europe directly.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, Christina practiced corporate tax for 15 years at KPMG, working in London, Sydney and Paris, advising clients investing globally.

Christina holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant (Australia & New Zealand).

Hafiz Lalani

Managing Director, Head of Direct Private Equity

Hafiz is responsible for direct investments in private companies diversified across North America and Europe, leading our Direct Private Equity group.

During his tenure, he has worked on multiple private investments including Asurion, AWAS, Dorna, GlobalLogic, Hotelbeds, Sportradar, ista and Visma. Hafiz previously served on the boards of AWAS, GlobalLogic, Hotelbeds, and Livingston International, while currently serving on the boards of Sportradar and Visma.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2006, Hafiz worked in the Technology, Media & Telecom investment banking group at CIBC World Markets. Before that, he worked for Millennium Research Group, a boutique research and consulting firm focused on the medical device industry.

Hafiz holds a BComm from Queen’s University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Derek Jackson

Managing Director, Head of European Credit

Derek leads the European Credit group.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2017, Derek was a Managing Director at Davidson Kempner focused on investing in event-driven, opportunistic and distressed investments across Europe. Before that, he was an Executive Director at Alcentra, focused on sub-investment grade corporate credit markets across Europe. Derek started his career at Andersen and Ernst & Young.

Derek holds a BComm from the University of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Thomas Jackson

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Europe

Thomas is responsible for our real estate investments across Europe and the UK and leads the real estate investment team based in London. Thomas is also a member of CPP Investment’s global real estate investment committee. Having joined CPP Investments in 2011, Tom has been instrumental in building our European, UK and India real estate portfolio, by way of joint venture arrangements with best-in-class operating and development partners, as well as by way of platform investments into real estate operating companies.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Thomas was Vice President in the real estate investment banking team at Macquarie bank, focused on M&A transactions across Europe and the UK, within the private and listed real estate sector.

Thomas holds a BSc (First Class Hons) from the University of Nottingham and an MSc from the University of London Southbank. He holds MRICS and IMC (CFA) certifications.

He is on the Board of Unite plc

Mei Mavin 

Managing Director and Head of Global Corporate Communications

Mei leads CPP Investments’ Global Corporate Communications team, which is responsible for media relations, investment and financial communications and issues-management activities. Since joining CPP Investments in 2014, she has worked in both the New York and London offices.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Mei worked for Sun Life Financial in Toronto and Hong Kong, where she led Sun Life’s Communications and customer marketing initiatives in Asia.

Mei holds a BA from the University of Toronto.

Amy Flikerski

Managing Director, Head of External Portfolio Management

Based in London, Amy is the global Head of External Portfolio Management.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2012, she was a Senior Analyst at Highbridge Capital Management and Talpion Fund Management in New York City. Previously, Amy was involved in hedge fund manager evaluation, selection and research as an Associate at PAAMCO Prisma, and gained investment experience at Moon Capital Management, an emerging markets long/short equity fund, and JGP Gestão de Recursos, a Rio de Janeiro-based macro fund. Amy began her career as a Senior Associate in the High Yield group at Moody’s Investors Service and has worked in the U.S., UK, Brazil, Canada and Hong Kong.

Amy holds a BA in Economics from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

She is on the board of Elis SA, an international multi-service provider. In addition, she serves as a Global Association Board Member for 100 Women in Finance.

Ben Mason

Managing Director, Public Credit

Ben leads the Developed Market Active strategy within the Public Credit group in our Credit Investments Department. Previously he focused on fixed income programs in both Global Capital Markets and Short Horizon Alpha groups. He was responsible for the vanilla and structured credit portfolios, as well as developing cross-product strategies spanning equity, foreign exchange, interest rates, credit and volatility.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Ben was a Portfolio Manager at London-based hedge fund Cheyne Capital Management, focused on both vanilla and structured credit strategies, including CDS and Correlation investing. Previously, Ben held various roles in credit trading at Barclays Capital and Goldman Sachs in London.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Engineering and an MA in Engineering with French from the University of Warwick.

Pascal Keutgens

Managing Director, Direct Private Equity

Pascal focuses on the healthcare and consumer sectors. He is also responsible for investments in Germany, France and the Benelux.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Pascal was a Partner at Bregal Freshstream, where he was responsible for their Private Equity activities in France and the Benelux. Previously Pascal was a Partner at Doughty Hanson, where he spent 13 years focusing on mid-market buyouts across Europe. Pascal trained as an accountant at PwC.

He holds a BA in Finance from HEC Business School in Liège, Belgium, and a MA in International Business from the University of Leicester (UK).

Pascal is on the boards of Axel Springer, Inmarsat and Galileo Global Education.

Grace Yuen

Managing Director, Legal, Asia Pacific

Grace leads our legal team in Hong Kong and Mumbai and is responsible for the delivery of enterprise and investment legal advice and support across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Grace was a senior M&A lawyer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP specializing in complex, cross-border M&A and PE transactions, joint ventures and other strategic investments across asset classes and geographies. She has worked in London, Brussels and Hong Kong.

Grace holds a BA in Political Science from Yale University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School. She is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong.

Henry Ingrouille

Managing Director, Head of APAC Operations

Henry is responsible for CPP Investments’ operations in Asia Pacific and for leading initiatives to support its continued growth in the region.

Prior to CPP Investments in 2021, Henry spent nearly 30 years in operations and other functions at global financial services firms. He was most recently the COO for APAC Equities at Bank of America, a position he held since 2016. Between 2012 and 2016, he was Group COO of Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing. Before that, Henry worked at Morgan Stanley for 18 years in a number of roles, including its Head of Asia Operations and Global Head of Vendor and Network Management. He began his career at the London Stock Exchange.

Henry received a BSc (Hons) in Computational Linguistics and Modern Languages from the University of Manchester.

Raymond Chan

Managing Director, Head of APAC Credit

Raymond leads our Asia credit business. Prior to joining CPP Investments, he was a managing director at SSG Capital, responsible for special situations investments and secured lending in Greater China.

Previously, Raymond was the Head of Greater China at Intermediate Capital Group, Senior Fund Manager at RAB Capital and head of Asia Asset Management at D.B. Zwirn. He started his career with HSBC, departing as a team head of the Real Estate Sector.

Raymond holds a BSSc in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA from the EMBA program of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Gilles Chow

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate North Asia

Gilles covers Asia-Pacific markets with a focus on North Asia, South-East Asia, and new initiatives. He has led some of CPP Investments’ early investments around the region and his priorities include business development, transactions, and investment
relationships.

Gilles joined CPP Investments in 2010 and has over 20 years of experience across several real estate business lines including development, construction management, asset management, private equity and fund management, and has variously been professionally based in Australia, Singapore, UK, Belgium and now Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in establishing and managing cross-border investments and joint ventures in Europe and Asia-Pacific and has previously held investment roles in Lend Lease, MGPA, and Aviva Investors.

Gilles holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of International Business degrees from the University of Queensland and Griffith University, respectively, and has earned his CPA and CFA designations.

Jimmy Phua

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Asia Pacific

Jimmy is responsible for our real estate investments in Asia and has lived and worked in Singapore, South Korea and Hong Kong.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2008, Jimmy worked with several leading real estate companies, including ING Real Estate, and was responsible for setting up ING Real Estate’s business in South Korea.

Jimmy holds a BS in Estate Management (First Class Hons) from the National University of Singapore and an MBA in International Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Frank Su

Managing Director, Head of Private Equity Asia

Frank is responsible for leading our private equity business in Asia.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, he was a Principal at Bain Capital, responsible for private equity investments in Asia, with a focus on Greater China. Before that, he was a manager at Bain & Company and worked at Ericsson as a Business Development manager, and at COFCO as a trader.

Frank holds a BA from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Jung Yup (JY) Lee

Managing Director, Private Equity

Jung Yup focuses on private equity investment opportunities in Asia.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2016, he was a Partner and Head of Korea at Headland Capital Partners, where he was responsible for private equity investments, primarily in Korea, and was also a member of the investment committee. He began his career with H&Q Asia Pacific Korea in Seoul.

Jung Yup holds a BSc in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University.

Kim Wright

Managing Director, Head of Listed Real Assets

Kim leads the Listed Real Assets Group, which invests globally across listed real estate, energy and infrastructure. She is also a member of the Real Estate Investment Committee, and the Real Assets Investment Committee, which oversees the Funds global public and private investments.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Kim was Global Head of Real Estate Equities Research at UBS. Based in Hong Kong, she was responsible for formulating and presenting the UBS global real estate view. Kim covered listed real estate for UBS for more than 22 years, leading top-rated real estate equities research teams in Australia, Europe and Asia. Kim holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Sydney, Australia.

She is a CFA charter holder, a member of the European Real Estate Association (EPRA) Advisory Board, a board member of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) HK Chapter and a former member of the Australian Property Council, Global Investment Committee.

Alina Chiew

Managing Director, Active Equities Asia

Alina leads the Active Equities Asia group investing in publicly listed companies, IPOs and pre-IPOs, as well as research and investment in China A and H shares, with specific focus on the wealth management, renewables, healthcare and wellness domains.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2017, Alina was Managing Director responsible for managing Greater China equity strategies in Goldman Sachs Asset Management; and was Chief Representative in the Shanghai Representative Office. Before that, she headed the research department at CITIC Frontier China Research in Shanghai, and also worked as an equity research analyst at Crosby, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. She started her career as a bank regulator with Bank Negara Malaysia.

Alina holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Malaya. She is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.

Tania Sztamfater Chocolat

Managing Director, Head of São Paulo Office, Head of Active Equities Latin America

Tania is the Head of São Paulo office and is also responsible for leading and overseeing Active Equities Latin America.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2017, Tania was responsible for Private Equity investments in Brazil at Capital Group. Before that, Tania held various positions at Itaú Unibanco in the Investment Banking, Research and Private Banking Divisions, and was a financial analyst in the Investment Banking Department at J.P. Morgan.

Tania holds a BA in Industrial Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Univerdade de São Paulo.

Tania is currently a board member of Equatorial and Totvs.

Ricardo Szlejf

Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure & Sustainable Energies, Latin America

Ricardo is responsible for leading our investment activities in Infrastructure and SEG in Latin America and has been overseeing investments in energy and infrastructure in Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Peru.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2015, Ricardo spent over 20 years covering the energy and infrastructure segments, including at Bank of America and Santander.

Ricardo holds a BS in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo and an MBA from INSEAD (Paris).

He is on the boards of Auren in Brazil and IDEAL in Mexico.

Judy L. Wade

Managing Director, Head of Strategy Execution Support & Relationship Management

Judy is responsible for Strategy Execution & Relationship Management, working closely with the One Fund Strategy Group and across all departments to support the execution of priority initiatives. This includes leading a revitalized knowledge approach across the Fund and improving end-to-end capital management. She also heads the organization’s San Francisco Office.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2020, Judy led McKinsey & Company’s practice serving startups and their investors. She also spent 10 years as a CEO or Senior Executive in various startups in gaming, digital health and big data. She started her career at McKinsey focused on education and technology.

Judy holds a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School and a BA in Economics from University of California, Berkeley.

She is co-Chair of the Board of UC Berkeley’s College of Letters & Science.

Monica Adractas

Managing Director, Head of Growth Equity

Based in San Francisco, Monica leads the Growth Equity Team within Private Equity, overseeing the Fund’s venture and growth investments. Growth Equity invests through integrated funds and direct investment strategies, leveraging 20+ partnerships with top-tier GPs and focusing on technologies and innovations. Monica joined CPP Investments in 2019, when she launched the Venture Capital program and was instrumental in establishing CPP Investments’ presence in San Francisco.

Prior to joining CPP Investments, Monica built and led businesses in high growth environments, including Meta, Box, and Starbucks. Most recently, she was Global Director at Workplace, an enterprise business she helped launch at Facebook. Monica spent a decade with McKinsey & Company to start her career across San Francisco and New York.

Monica holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Kavita Saha

Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure & Sustainable Energies, India

Kavita leads our Infrastructure and Sustainable Energies team in India, focusing on executing and managing investments in the transportation, renewables and utilities sectors.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Kavita spent over eight years in the JP Morgan Asian Infrastructure & Related Resources Opportunity Fund (AIRRO), part of JP Morgan’s Global Alternatives group. She was responsible for execution of infrastructure investments in India in roads, energy and healthcare infrastructure. Before that, she spent over 15 years as an investment banker with Barclays, IL&FS Financial Services Ltd. and Industrial Development Bank of India.

Kavita holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University in India. She is a CFA charterholder.

She is currently on the Board of Directors for Renew Energy Global Plc and National Highways Infra Investment Managers Private Limited.

Hari Krishna

Managing Director, Head of Real Estate India

Hari is responsible for CPP Investments’ Real Estate investments in India and is based out of our Mumbai office. The Real Estate group in India focuses on investments alongside top tier partners in key sectors such as office, retail and industrial.

Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2014, Hari was at Kotak Investment Advisors which is the alternate assets arm of Kotak Bank. He was co- responsible for real estate funds business which had total assets under management of over USD 1Billion, contributed by SWFs and other global LPs. He started his career with CBRE and JLL in the corporate finance business.

Hari holds a MFin from University of Delhi, India.

Prakul Kaushiva

Managing Director, Private Equity Asia

Prakul leads CPP Investments’ direct private equity business in India.

Prakul joined CPP Investments in 2012, where he started out in the London-based Infrastructure team within Real Assets. He subsequently moved to the direct investment team in Private Equity Asia, where he worked in the Hong Kong office for a number of years, before relocating to his current role in Mumbai in 2022. Prior to CPP Investments, Prakul worked at Goldman Sachs in the Technology, Media and Telecom M&A group and subsequently in the Securities Division. Prakul has also worked at General Electric in the US and India.

He holds a BTech in Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, with a focus on General Management and Finance.
