External Portfolio Management oversees a portfolio of externally managed funds and separate accounts that complement CPP Investments’ internal investment programs. The group has relationships with more than 70 asset managers globally. Invested strategies include public market equities, credit, interest rates, currencies and commodities. EPM forms long term partnership with managers. The group also makes co-investments alongside external managers and runs an Emerging Managers program focused on seeding and capital acceleration.
The team operates from CPP Investments’ Toronto, London, Hong Kong and New York offices and conducts due diligence and research globally.
